Curriculum & Learning
Here at Meaford day nursery we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
The EYFS sets a standard for the learning, development and care of young children from birth to 5 years old.
Children at Meaford are encouraged to learn through play and are assessed through the seven areas of learning;
- Communication and Language
- Physical Development
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Literacy
- Mathematics
- Understanding the world
- Expressive arts and Design
All of our practitioners are highly trained within the EYFS and so understand that all children are individuals and develop at their own rate.
